After School Enrichment Programs, Classes and Summer Camps

Below you will find answers to questions and tips about our after school programs, classes and summer camps in East Orlando.

Here are some helpful tips for our future campers and parents

Do you provide lunch and snacks?

Due to food allergy concerns, we do not provide lunch and snacks.  Parents must provide lunch and two snacks per day for their child.  Also, your child will need a water bottle with their name on it for outside activities.

Describe your typical camp day

Our summer camp days are packed with exciting games, multiple sports, relays, crafts, karaoke room, movie room, game truck and water day with a huge water slide.  We offer 3 different activities per hour that kids can choose from, for example (1) inside – Pirates of The Caribbean, (2) outside – Gaga Ball and (3) under pavilion – Battleship.  Activities change every hour so your child will have the opportunity to play multiple games throughout the day.  On “Wacky” Wednesday, after lunch we do team building activities,  for example, Escape The School, Scavenger Hunts, Minute To Win It and much more.  On Fridays “Water Day” kids play different water activities,  including huge inflatable  water slides, inflatable bounce house with a water slide and slip-n-slides.  We also have a game truck on Fridays!

What age groups attend your camp?

Our age groups are from 5-13.  We further break the campers into age appropriate groups for some activities (5-8) and (9-13).  We believe in teambuilding and mentoring also.  That means we will comingle both age groups for certain activities.

Who are your Camp Leaders and Instructors?

AIM founder and owner Marci Whitehurst has run a successful after school sport enrichment program for over 20 years.  Marci is a former gymnast who has an enormous love for children and teaching.  AIM has a direct relationship with the University of Central Florida Athletic Dept.   We hire staff that first and foremost have a love for working with children and are also crafting their instructing skills in their sport of expertise.  All of our staff members are CPR certified and background checked.

Are there any additional costs that I should know about for the camp?

On Fridays, your child has the option of purchasing pizza at $2.00 per slice and Kona Ice cups at $5.00 per cup.  (not required, optional only)

What is your Camp Coach/Instructor ratio?

We believe strongly in safety.  Our ratio rule is 15 students for every Camp Leader however, typically it is usually 13:1.

What can my camper expect for Water Day?

Lots, and lots of fun for sure.  Each week we will have water slides and other fun water games.  We definitely recommend your camper wear his or her bathing suit under their clothes, and a bag with their name on it for this fun day.  Oh yes, and of course sunscreen!
