Our Gymnastics CurriculumOrlando tumbling camps

Our gymnastics classes will teach your child basics to advanced-level gymnastics. Some basic skills taught are splits, bridges, forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and more advanced level skills like back handsprings, tucks, aerials, and more.

Students will have the opportunity to earn a colored bracelet for each skill level they master.

Beginner Level 1 (Yellow) – Bridge, kisser on block (start of handstand), T-lever, forward roll to stand, backward roll down cheese, run punch straight jump, run hurdle, standing backbend, cartwheel, jumps, single leg hold, and stick finish position.

Intermediate Level 2 (Green) – Handstand, standing backbend, bridge kick over off block, backward roll to pike, one arm cartwheel, push up block, handstand flat fall, run hurdle round off rebound, handstand to bridge, handstand forward roll down incline, handstand snap down rebound, and jumps (split, and half turn jump).

Intermediate Level 3 (Blue) – Handstand shoulder block, opposite leg cartwheel, straight arm backward roll to push up, front limber, front handspring over a barrel, fall back (prepping for back handspring), back handspring over a barrel, press handstand, handstand forward roll, handstand walk, jumps (full turn and wolf jump), and half turn.

Advanced Level 4 (Marble) – Back walkover, front walkover, front handspring, back handspring, front tuck off springboard, round off back handspring, side ariel, standing back tuck, handstand half pirouette, back extension roll to handstand off block, full turn, and jumps (stag and pike)

Coach Julie – Director of Cheer and Gymnastics

Coach Julie has been a dedicated member of the Always in Motion team for three years, bringing both experience and enthusiasm to our gymnastics program. Before joining AIM, she spent three years coaching recreational and competitive gymnastics teams in Jacksonville, FL, developing young athletes and helping them grow in skill and confidence.

Julie’s love for gymnastics began at age five, and that lifelong passion continues to guide her coaching today. She truly enjoys working with children and finds joy in watching their excitement each time they master a new skill. Her supportive approach and genuine care make her an inspiring leader for our students.
